We write it

Questions doctors ask

How long does a paper take?: Most papers are delivered in 1–2 business days of your brief reaching us. If the work is larger — a systematic review, for example — we agree a date with you in writing once we have read the brief, and that date is what we hold ourselves to.
Can I speak to someone before I pay?: Yes. The support chat needs an account but not a payment, and the number further down this page is answered during business hours. Worth knowing, though: the payment comes first and the brief straight after it, so anything you want settled first is worth asking before you pay rather than after.
How is the work delivered?: Always as two files: the editable original — Word for a paper, PowerPoint for a presentation — and a PDF of the same thing. Both are emailed to you and kept in your CortexMed account to download. You keep full rights to everything.
Do you make conference presentations as well?: Yes — ₹6,500 for a deck built to the time you have been given, with charts from your own data and speaker notes on every slide. It is the same flow as a paper: pay, tell us what the talk has to do, and we build it.
How do I reach you while the paper is being written?: Everything to do with your paper happens in two places: email, and the support chat inside your account. Both keep a written, timestamped record you can go back to, which is exactly why we use them. You can send files in the chat as well — data, drafts, a marked-up PDF — so the whole history of a paper sits in one place. We publish a phone number for anyone who wants to hear a voice first, but nothing is agreed on a call: it goes in writing afterwards so you have it.
What if the draft is not quite right?: One round of revisions is included in the price. Tell us what needs to change in the support chat and we will turn it around.
Do you guarantee that the paper will be accepted?: No, and you should be sceptical of anyone who does. Acceptance is the journal's decision. What we guarantee is a well-structured, well-referenced, original manuscript that is ready to submit.
Is my work kept confidential?: Yes. Your brief, your data and your drafts are only seen by the person writing your paper. We do not reuse your material and we do not share it with anyone else.
